Moultrie recently received an interesting e-mail from a customer that we thought we would share with the rest of our readers.
I recently purchased a Moultrie D-40 game camera and solar panel. Needless to say I am very pleased with my purchase. I captured this picture that has created quite a story in Louisiana since there are supposedly no cats such as this here. The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has investigated the site to rule out the possibility that the picture could be "fake". The picture has created quite a bit of controversy on the Louisiana Sportsman website. Some people do not believe it to be real. Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has visited the site and set up a scent post there. They borrowed my memory card to verify the authenticity of the photo. They have deemed that it is legitimate, which of course it is. This picture is supposedly the first one of a cougar taken in Louisiana. There have been sightings but no actual photos until now. Once again I am very happy with my purchase. Now I have a picture that is priceless!
